Ecumenical Documents

One of the essential tasks of the Johann Adam Möhler Institute is to collect, review and analyse the results of ecumenical dialogues. In this context, the institute started to publish all documents that have been drawn up at the global level by official dialogue commissions or agreed between church leaders. They are published in German translation in anthologies edited by an ecumenical editorial board under the title "Dokumente wachsender Übereinstimmung" (DwÜ). The first German edition (1983) was the model for the corresponding anthologies in English, which were published from 1984 onwards under the title “Growth in Agreement”.

Five volumes of the German edition have been published so far, covering the period from 1931 to 2019. The tables of contents of these volumes can be accessed here as a pdf-files:
